Description
Instrument for perspective drawing designed by the German architect Benjamin Bramer, a pupil and brother-in-law of the more famous mathematician and instrument-maker Jost Burgi. The instrument, formed of various modular components, can operate either like Wentzel’s perspectograph or like Ludovico Cigoli’s mazza (mace).
